Easter bread
During those days it is very typical to cook special meals that go beyond the typical Chilean gastronomy. In addition to its best dishes, one them is the Easter bread that is very popular throughout the country.
In Santiago, Chile. This is one of the most emblematic products and it has been made with the same recipe since the 1940s. It incorporates yeast and an exquisite combination of candied fruits, raisins and nuts.
This product came to Chile from the hands of the Italian colonizers, who brought the Panettones in the 19th century. The story goes that this recipe was born in Milan and its first record as a traditional Chritmas sweet in Italy dates back to the 18th.
